Designing the opening, invitational minutes of a learning experience is important to capture the attention and the interest of your students by appealing to their sense of wonder and curiosity. An effective invitation is disruptive to the learner’s way of knowing and being; something new is about to come into my life and that compels the learner to make sense of this.
