Matt Ellerie is the Middle School Bible and History teacher for Heritage Christian School in North Liberty, Iowa. With over 20 years of teaching experience in first grade and Middle School, he is excited to see the intention, challenge, and impact the Teaching for Transformation framework brings in fostering students who actively live out their role in God's big story. He enjoys encouraging his students to deepen their faith and live unashamedly as followers of Christ. When not in the classroom, Matt loves spending time with his wife and three kids playing board games, biking to the local ice cream shop, or watching a good movie together.
