El Mundo Espera

For several years, Lansing Christian secondary Spanish teacher Elizabeth Sabins (and World Languages Masterclass facilitator!) has partnered with schools in several Spanish-speaking countries for a language exchange. Students write to one another and hold video conferences, exchanging photos and stories to learn about each other’s cultures and to practice vocabulary and grammar. This year, her students have connected with students in Ambato, Ecuador. Liz’s Deep Hope is that her “students will recognize and appreciate the beautiful diversity in the world around us, that they will seek to understand one another, and that they will reflect the love of God through their interactions and service. The world awaits!” Check out the many artifacts that Liz shares of her Spanish classes partnering with learners around the world.
